日本の紡績工場で発生したヴァージンコットンの落ちわた（未利用繊維）100％を再生したリサイクルコットン。
島根県にある日本最大の綿紡績工場で、糸を紡ぐ時に櫛でわたの繊維の方向を整えるような作業をする時に発生する、わた埃や毛足の短い繊維を落ちわたと呼びます。独自の紡績方法で糸を紡ぐこの工場では比較的毛足の長い落ちわたが発生します。
通常は布団わたの業者さんに売られたり、処分される落ちわたを、同じ工場内に設けられたリサイクルコットン専用の紡績ラインで再び甘撚りでやわらかく紡がれたこの ito は、GENUINE “MADE IN JAPAN” のエコリサイクル素材です。

限りある資源の持続可能性について立ち止まって考えるきっかけになればと思います。

ＫＩＮＡＲＩの ito は染色を行っていない紡がれたまま生まれたままの風合いを残しているため、他の色と比べてお洗濯後やや（5~10％程度）寸法が縮みますので、やや大きめに編んでいただくことをお勧めいたします。

RECYCLED COTTON 100 KINARI / RAW WHITE

This is a recycled cotton that regenerated of 100% fallen virgin cotton noils
(unused fiber) when spinning yarn at a Japanese spinning factory.

It is an eco-recycled material of GENUINE "MADE IN JAPAN" which spun yarns
used relatively long hair length noils with a unique method of a spinning factory in Japan.

I hope to stop and think about the sustainability of limited resources.

Since yarns of KINARI leaves a texture as it was spun and raw freshly without dyeing it,
the size shrinks somewhat (about 5 to 10%) after washing compared with other colors.
Therefore, we recommend you to knit a little larger.
