リサイクルコットンの股引レギンス「fork（フォーク）」

saredo がこのたびリリースする新ライン、John & Jane by saredo 。

英語で男性用のズボン下（股引）やシャツの下に着る肌着（ラクダ）は Long Johns と呼び女性用のものは Long Janes と呼びます。
代表的な男女の名前からとったこの衣服の呼び名に着想を得て、落ちわたを暮しに取り入れると言う価値観を使うかたと共有する saredo が inn’n’outer（インナンナウター）として内に外に、陰に陽に、着るかたがレイヤーを重ねて一つの作品をつくるパーツとしてのあたらしい衣服のかたち。

第一弾は fork。saredo がかんがえる、あたらしい股引のかたち。

奈良県大和高田市の工場さんにある旧式で希少なメカの 108本 5inch ダブルシリンダー編機を使用し、生成（きなり）の リサイクルコットンを使って（腹部のゴムや足首先の僅少のゴム糸は除く）脚部の筒とマチを時間をかけて編み立て、同じく県内の縫製工場さんで丁寧に仕上げました。

天竺と畦（リブ）のシンプルな構造ながら編み度目やサイズの修正を何度も繰り返し、履き心地はジャージとレギンスの中間位に位置する、股上も腹部の冷えを軽減するくらいゆったりと取った extra long zokki（総生）。
※総生（ぞっき）とはまぜもののないこと、全部同じものでまとまっていることを指す。群馬県あたりの方言に発し、絹織物の桐生産地から広まった言葉。この股引レギンスは綿総生（めんぞっき）と言える。

二股大根は無病息災、夫婦和合、子孫繁栄の象徴でもあり、英語で forked radish 。
漂流するように現代の都市と地方を股旅する人たちへの旅道具として、四季折々、室内の冷えが気になる季節にも。

"fork".

saredo has recently launched a new line, “John & Jane by saredo”.

In English, men's underwear under trousers and shirts is called Long Johns and women's underwear is called Long Janes.

Inspired by the name of this garment, which is named after a representative man and woman, saredo, which shares the value of incorporating the cotton mil waste into one's life, creates inn'n'outer, a new form of clothing that is a part of a single work of art that is layered on top of each other, inside and out, implicitly and explicitly.

The first is "fork," a new form of long underpants that saredo has envisioned.

The legs and gussets are knitted using recycled cotton (except for a small amount of elastic at the belly and ankle), and then carefully finished at a sewing factory in Nara.

It is a simple texture of plain stitch and rib stitch, but the knitting and sizing have been modified many times, and the comfort is in the middle of the track pants and leggings, and the inseam is loose enough to reduce the chill in the abdomen=“extra long zokki”.

※The word "zokki" refers to the absence of any mixture or the fact that everything is the same. The word originated in the dialect of Gunma Pref. and spread from Kiryu, a silk fabric production area. These leggings can be said to be made from only cotton=cotton zokki.

The two-legged radish is also a symbol of good health, marital harmony, and the prosperity of offspring in Japan, and is forked radish in English.
It's a travel tool for the drifting modern urban and rural traveller, in all seasons and when the indoor chill is a concern.
